AVP Finance/Senior Finance Manager
Job Description: AVP Finance Manager encompasses the supervision of financial activities, the administration of financial planning and analysis, and the guarantee of adherence to financial regulations and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate forecasts and anticipate financial developments for the organisation.
- Carry out assessments and appraisals to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Supervise the financial department's operations, establish targets and aims, and develop a structure for their achievement.
- Calculate the financial resources necessary to meet the organization's short-term and long-term monetary goals.
- Strategize, coordinate, and execute financial assignments and initiatives within the company.
Qualifications/Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a requirement. A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or a Master's in Finance is a plus.
- A strong background in finance or accounting, with 3-4 years or more of progressive experience in financial management, analysis, or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Experience in evaluating costs, pricing, and financial performance.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel.
