AVP Finance/Senior Finance Manager

Job Description: AVP Finance Manager encompasses the supervision of financial activities, the administration of financial planning and analysis, and the guarantee of adherence to financial regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate forecasts and anticipate financial developments for the organisation.
  • Carry out assessments and appraisals to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Supervise the financial department's operations, establish targets and aims, and develop a structure for their achievement.
  • Calculate the financial resources necessary to meet the organization's short-term and long-term monetary goals.
  • Strategize, coordinate, and execute financial assignments and initiatives within the company.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a requirement. A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or a Master's in Finance is a plus.
  • A strong background in finance or accounting, with 3-4 years or more of progressive experience in financial management, analysis, or accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • Experience in evaluating costs, pricing, and financial performance.
  • Deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) 
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel.
